Pianist Frank Strazzeri was born in Rochester, New York on April 24, 1930. He gained valuable experience as a house pianist in a Rochester jazz club and moved to New Orleans in 1954 to work with Al Hirt and Sharkey Bonano. Frank settled in the Los Angeles area in the early 60's and found steady jazz work with Joe Williams, Herb Ellis and Terry Gibbs, and played on many sessions for Pacific Jazz, Verve and Atlantic. He continues to record and perform with the best of the west coast jazz artists.
